extra-curricular, or co-curricular, activities are vital in the development of the whole child, the school offers a wide range of these activities.

Leadership Opportunities
These activities present opportunities for the senior grade 6 students to develop their leadership skills. The group assists the staff with the smooth running of the school. Their duties include lunch area supervision, wet day supervision of classes and initiating projects such as recycling and pastoral care of the younger students.

The sporting programme provides students with the chance to captain teams.The school operates a Student Council with representation from grades one to six. Members are given opportunities to help solve student problems in a collaborative manner.

Enrichment Programme
Once a week, students are given a choice of enriching and fun activities sponsored by members of the school staff. Activities on offer are rock climbing, horse riding, archery, golf, cookery, mask making, reading circles and model making. Some of these may incur an extra cost.

Sports
The school hosts and undertakes a variety of sports. All students are expected to take part in Physical Education (P.E.) and Swimming.

Children are given opportunities to experience various sporting activities and refine their physical abilities and skills through continuous practice. Through P.E. students learn the "language" of physical movement and explore the skills associated with the different strands of P.E. Through the various physical activities offered in School, students begin to become aware of their sporting talents, which are then nurtured throughout their stay in school.

The School takes part in and hosts several inter-school competitions and tournaments. Physical Education and Swimming are part of the school curriculum and all students are expected to take part in them.

Through sporting activities, links are built with parents, the local community and beyond.
All children take part in swimming lessons, a valuable life skill. Sports days and Swimming Galas are annual events in our school year.
